Wesley Golledge – Managing Director
Wesley first started punting in 1989, as a summer job to get him through university. In 1994 he established the Park branch of Punting on the Avon and is happy now to manage a fleet of 10 punts between the two branches.

Sarah Green – Marketing & Accounts Manager
Sarah has spent a number of years working in the tourism industry after completing a Tourism and Business management diploma in 1998. She joined the punting team in July 2007, after spending several years overseas living and working in America, Japan & England as well as travelling through other parts of the world. Sarah is happy to assist you with any account and management queries you may have.

Nina McClintock – Reservations Executive
Nina has been with Punting on the Avon since April 2008. She manages the Park branch and deals with all our day-to-day bookings and enquiries. Nina has worked in travel and tourism for the last four years. Please feel free to contact Nina if you have any queries or would like to make a booking.

Luke
Luke, you've been punting full-time for 5 years now. Apart from the sparkling wit and supreme coffee-making abilities of your colleagues, why do you stay at this job?
"Well, there are those things! Also, this is probably the most beautiful place I could work, in the Botanic Gardens on the Avon River. That would have to be really the biggest plus of the job. But it's good all round work too, you know, it's slightly physical - it keeps us a little bit fit - and it's a people job. It has been interesting meeting people from lots of different countries, and it has been great punting a lot of Japanese visitors and getting to develop my language ability."
Situations Vacant
We are often looking for people with an outgoing personality and good physical fitness to work as punters, particularly over our summer season. We have full or part time jobs available conducting punted tours through the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, and full training is given.
